“The Creation: The Lord’s Loud Speaker”
A growing number of the millennial generation in America profess that they do not believe in God. Many dismiss the church as irrelevant and reject any kind of organized or traditional faith. Yet our Creator speaks the loudest to this generation and to us all in the creation. The creation declares the glory of God ().
I. The Creation: Calls Us to Worship –
A. Bless the Lord, O my soul –
1. Providence also demands our worship –
2. The creation reveals God’s power –
3. The creation reveals His character –
B. The creation is not to be worshipped –
1. Worshiping the creation leads to moral degradation –
2.The creation is God’s canvas to reveal His thoughts like a painter –
• God laid the foundation
• God set the boundaries of the sea
3. The earth is small to God – , ,
II. The Creation: Reveals the Wisdom of God –
A. He cares for the animals and provides water –
B. He provides grass for the cattle –
1. Wonder of wonders on the third day of creation, God created grass –
2. Trees for the birds –
C. He created the rhythms of day and night –
III. The Creation: Calls Us to Faith –
A. Unbelief calls for repentance –
1. Why? Because a personal God created this world with wisdom and purpose –
2. The animals seek their food from God – supposed “atheists” have no idea who feeds them –
3 Jacob worshipped His Savior as he blessed his grandsons –
B. The Spirit of God renews the earth every day –
1. God will get your attention – in a thunderstorm, tornado, hurricane, etc. –
2. Answer Me! says the Lord –
3. Job’s repentance –
Worship as Job worshipped (). Stand in wonder of God and His awesome greatness. Look at everything as if it was the first time or the last.
